Dennis Wilder
Professor, Georgetown University; former Special Assistant to the President

Dennis Wilder is a Professor of Asian Studies Georgetown University and a Senior Fellow at its Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues. He teaches courses on intelligence, national security, and geopolitics. Professor Wilder served as the CIA’s Deputy Assistant Director for East Asia and the Pacific, providing critical intelligence analysis on the region. During the George W. Bush administration, he served as Senior Director for East Asian Affairs at the National Security Council. Later, he edited the President’s Daily Brief over six years of the Obama administration.
